Recently, the fourth campus of The Dewey Schools in Ocean Park, Gia Lam, held a topping-off ceremony for the project. This is a significant event in the school’s development process, preparing for the welcoming of the first generation of students in the school year 2024–2025.
Mr. Tran Duc Hieu, the Project Deputy Director, stated: “Currently, the construction has completed 90% of the structural components. In January, we will commence the finalization work, including mechanical and electrical tasks as well as infrastructure work around the building blocks. The project is fully on schedule. With the professionalism in construction by the main contractor Central, the dedication and precision from the project management consultancy and supervision by Artelia, as well as the commitment from the project management board of the investor, the project guarantees to deliver the best quality and environment for students, teachers, and the school’s operational unit.”
Mr. Pham Ngoc Truong, the Project Commander, enthusiastically shared, “The Project Command Team has excellently exerted efforts to complete the project structure within just 4 months, surpassing the schedule by 3 weeks while still ensuring strict compliance with the technical and aesthetic criteria of the investor.”
Located in the prime position of Vinhomes Ocean Park Urban Area, an eastern focal point of Hanoi, the school is constructed with a total floor area of up to 20,000 m2, including 55 classrooms, 17 modern functional rooms, and an array of expanded facilities. Particularly, Dewey Schools Ocean Park takes pride in being one of the schools with the most beautiful architecture, safety, and functionality in Vietnam. The project has a total investment of nearly 400 billion VND by Edufit Education Corporation and Toshin Development Co., Ltd. under the Takashimaya Group from Japan, making dedicated efforts to drive educational innovation in Vietnam and contribute to the community.
The Dewey Schools Ocean Park will officially open in August 2024.
