The recent Ward-level Academic Excellence Competition for 9th-grade students in Xuan Dinh recorded impressive achievements by Dewey students in English and Literature. Behind these awards is the image of a courageous generation of students, persistently pursuing their goals and constantly expanding their own limits through every academic challenge.
Standing out in this year’s achievement board is Minh Chau (9Zurich) with a First Prize in English. This result reflects a solid linguistic foundation, flexible thinking, and the ability to master exam pressure nurtured at Dewey. Additionally, Ha Linh (8Kemi) and Tue Nhi (8Torun), despite being in 8th grade, excellently won Consolation Prizes competing against a 9th-grade curriculum, further extending the streak of TDSers at highly competitive academic playgrounds.

In Literature, Hanh Nguyen (9Lisbon) brought home a Consolation Prize with writings rich in emotional depth and personal perspective. This achievement did not come simply from accumulating knowledge, but is a result of observational skills, critical thinking, and a keen sensitivity to life issues—essential qualities for proactively mastering the future.
Beyond these proud achievements, what the School values most is the process in which students learn to persevere with their goals, stay firm under pressure, and proactively overcome their own limits. Every competition experience and every attempt at large-scale arenas contributes to building independent thinking and the inner strength within each student.
Once again, congratulations to Minh Chau, Ha Linh, Tue Nhi, and Hanh Nguyen. Dewey believes that the most meaningful learning journey does not lie in becoming the best, but in each student constantly moving forward with confidence, a spirit of learning, and a desire for daily self-development.
