In the final days of April, the international academic competition World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Hanoi Round 2026came to a close, leaving unforgettable impressions at The Dewey Schools Tay Ho Tay campus.
Over two dynamic days of competition, the school transformed into a true “arena of intellect,” welcoming 196 teams and nearly 600 contestants from northern provinces and cities. Competing against many strong teams from bilingual and international schools, TDS students achieved outstanding results with 14 trophies, 36 Gold Medals, and 29 Silver Medals.

“I spent a lot of time preparing—from debate and essay writing skills to carefully studying the materials provided by the organizers. At first, I was really nervous facing such strong opponents. But after going through the rounds, I realized I could overcome the challenge. Even though I made a few small mistakes, I feel incredibly proud of the journey.” — Huy Bảo (7 Ghent)
Thorough preparation and strong determination helped the students earn prestigious scholar cups and medals, demonstrating excellent English proficiency, interdisciplinary thinking, and confident performance on an international stage.

Congratulations to all Dewey “warriors” for successfully completing their journey. Hanoi Round 2026 closes one chapter and opens another—ready for even greater challenges at the upcoming Global Round!
