Demonstrating strong scientific thinking and outstanding performance, TDSers brought home an impressive collection of medals at the International Round of the International Kangaroo Science Contest (IKSC), extending their proud record of achievements and reaffirming their academic excellence on the global stage.
IKSC encourages students to approach science through inquiry, exploration, and analytical thinking. From observing phenomena and interpreting data to developing arguments and proposing solutions, each challenge requires students to think independently, connect knowledge across disciplines, and respond effectively within a limited timeframe. This reflects the learning philosophy at The Dewey Schools, where students are encouraged to learn through experience, ask meaningful questions, think critically, and apply knowledge to real-world situations rather than simply memorizing theories. Through this process, TDSers gradually develop academic confidence, adaptability, and the resilience needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive global environment.

These medals are the result of a journey marked by perseverance, initiative, and dedication to learning. They represent not only academic success but also a strong foundation that will empower our students to embrace greater challenges and opportunities in the future.
The Dewey Schools would like to congratulate all students on their outstanding performance in this year’s competition. We hope that the experience gained through IKSC will continue to inspire them to expand their horizons, strengthen their thinking skills, and pursue even greater aspirations in the years ahead.
