“Proudly we say ‘Vietnam,’
Everywhere the red flag with a yellow star flies high.
On this April 30th today,
It is the day of reunification, North and South together as one.”
More than half a century has passed, yet the glorious milestone of April 30, 1975 remains deeply meaningful in the hearts of every Vietnamese person. Joining the proud atmosphere of the 51st anniversary of national reunification, Dewey students have personally designed vibrant propaganda posters to express their patriotism. Amid the red-and-yellow colors filling the classrooms, each artwork reflects a unique perspective—a creative expression of love for the homeland—contributing to a sacred symphony of national unity.

On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of reunification, The Dewey Schools would like to express our deepest gratitude to previous generations who sacrificed their blood and lives for the country’s unity. This appreciation also extends to today’s soldiers, who continue the proud tradition, safeguarding the peaceful skies of our homeland.
Each poster is a commitment from the young Dewey generation to cultivate knowledge and strengthen their character to build the nation. They choose to show their patriotism through learning, sharing, and bringing stories of peace and Vietnamese identity to the world. In the heartbeat of youth, the affirmation “With red blood and yellow skin, I am Vietnamese” remains their guiding principle as they proudly write new, brilliant chapters for the nation.
