Undoubtedly, many of us have come across emotionally touching stories about dedicated teachers, whose love and passion for the teaching profession have left a lasting impact on generations of readers, evoking deep emotions and a sense of admiration. These include Mr. Kobayashi in “Totto-Chan: The Little Girl at the Window”, Mr. Perboni in “Hearts”, Mr. Harfan and Mrs. Mus in “Rainbow Warriors”, Mr. Dyuyshen in “The First Teacher”, Mrs. Maria in “Teacher, Forgive Me”, Mr. Nikumbh in “Like Stars on Earth”, and more.
But it’s not only the teachers within the pages of books; there are countless beautiful real-life images of educators who, despite facing life’s hardships and challenges, are still “blooming” amidst our everyday existence. These images are firmly embedded in our minds, anchoring our belief in the profound nobility of the teaching profession.
The Dewey Schools is a place of learning, a nurturing home for hearts brimming with love. We express gratitude for the enthusiasm and intense affection that our teachers consistently pour into each student. Today, during the Appreciation Ceremony at the Theater, we extend our warmest and deepest thanks to over 300 teachers from the heartfelt sentiments of the student body.
The ceremony unfolded with many touching moments, featuring vibrant performances presented by the TDSers themselves. The cheers, applause, and laughter resonated throughout the theater, creating an atmosphere more lively than ever in celebration of our teachers.
The Dewey Schools would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the team of dedicated teachers—beacons of light guiding the way for the future of TDSers. They are constant companions, guiding and nurturing each individual. These teachers are not only educators but also devoted mothers and fathers, sowers of aspirations, helping the students of The Dewey Schools grow on the path ahead.
Wishing all the teachers abundant achievements in your careers, always steadfast in the noble profession of nurturing future generations.
