Some lessons become far more meaningful when children can see, explore, ask questions, and experience them firsthand.
During their field trip to the Vietnam Museum of Nature, Wonderkid Summer Camp students embarked on an exciting journey through millions of years of Earth’s history. From towering dinosaur skeletons and ancient fossils to fascinating insects, diverse plants and animals, and the story of life’s evolution, what they had previously encountered only in books came vividly to life before their eyes.

Guided by their teachers, our young explorers embraced the role of budding archaeologists. They didn’t just observe the exhibits—they asked thoughtful questions, shared their discoveries, and connected what they saw with what they had learned in the classroom. This natural curiosity is the foundation of scientific thinking: observing carefully, forming hypotheses, and actively seeking answers.
One of the most exciting highlights of the day was stepping into the shoes of real archaeologists. From casting their own dinosaur fossil replicas in plaster to designing personalized badges, every hands-on activity encouraged children to develop fine motor skills, patience, and creativity while learning through doing.

More importantly, the trip helped children understand that nature is not only something to explore but also something to protect. Witnessing the incredible diversity of life and Earth’s evolutionary journey inspired them to appreciate the natural world, value the environment, and recognize their own role in caring for our planet.
At Wonderkid, every field trip is an extension of the learning journey. We believe that for young children, the most meaningful learning happens through hands-on experiences—touching, observing, questioning, and discovering the world for themselves.
