Have you ever wondered where a book goes after we finish the very last page? Follow our Dewey student reporters to discover that special journey at the 2026 Book Exchange Fair!

The first thing we felt upon arriving was the excitement of a gathering between kindred spirits, where every book waited patiently to tell its next chapter. Wandering around the display tables, we realized that TDSers weren’t there to “buy” or “sell,” but to pass on old intellectual friends and welcome home new inspirations.

Every book was carefully prepared with genuine respect. Connections happened so naturally: a senior student enthusiastically introducing a hero to a younger peer, or two strangers suddenly becoming close friends simply because they shared a passion for the same science series.

The most impressive highlight recorded by the Organizing Committee was the successful exchange of over 2,000 books. This number represents 2,000 shared joys and 2,000 opportunities for knowledge to “come alive” again. From here, the value of every page continues to extend, turning knowledge into a continuous stream flowing through every hallway and classroom.

Walking out of the library with new books in hand, we believe the real adventures are only just beginning. From tonight, many desk lamps will be lit, opening up magical worlds right inside the small rooms of every TDSer. We hope you find plenty of fascinating things in your “new friends,” and let’s keep nurturing our love for knowledge every day!
