Nearly 500 kilometers – more than 10 hours of travel under the scorching early summer sun… But nothing could stop the group of students, parents, and staff members from Edufit Education Group as they carried love, dreams, and hope to Bao Nam 1 Primary School (Ky Son, Nghe An).
After five months of construction, the 14th “Dream School” was officially inaugurated, marking a significant milestone in Edufit’s 11-year journey of community service. From makeshift classrooms with poor lighting and worn-out furniture, the students of Bao Nam 1 Primary School now have a spacious, modern learning environment – giving them the motivation to pursue knowledge and chase their dreams.
This trip to Bao Nam 1 Primary School not only brought meaningful gifts to the local students, but also gave students from The Dewey Schools and Sakura Montessori valuable life experiences. “Before coming here, I had some vague ideas, but it was only upon arrival that I truly understood the difficulties the children face – living in such a remote area, enduring this heat, and walking long distances to school every day. I think they are amazing. I believe that as students who are fortunate to have access to education, we have a mission to share this opportunity with others. This project allows us to do just that,” shared Luong Xuan Khai, a student from The Dewey Schools Tay Ho Tay.
Beyond the goal of building 20 new schools by 2030, the “Dream School” project also represents a long-term commitment to supporting disadvantaged students through financial aid and special classes led by The Dewey Schools students themselves.
Ms. Do Hong Nhung, a parent from The Dewey Schools Cau Giay, shared: “Our children have benefited greatly from the foundations of family, education, and teachers. I believe there’s one more essential quality they need to become global citizens – empathy, generosity, and the spirit of sharing, which are core values at The Dewey Schools and Edufit as a whole. Through experiences like this, our children learn how to give and spread positive values – not just for their own growth, but for the betterment of the country as a whole, so that all future generations can benefit from a quality education.”
We invite all parents to revisit these touching moments from this special journey – where the dreams of children in mountainous regions are lifted, step by step, to become successful, responsible individuals who contribute to the nation HERE. Edufit firmly believes that with the support of the community, this journey will continue to spread and create many positive changes for the future.
