On February 19, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus of Bảo Nam 1 Semi-Boarding Primary School for Ethnic Minority Students (Bảo Nam Commune, Kỳ Sơn District, Nghệ An Province) officially took place. This marks a significant milestone within the framework of the “Dream School” Project, initiated by Edufit Group in collaboration with its affiliated educational institutions, Sakura Montessori and The Dewey Schools. With the mission of creating a better learning environment, the project brings hope and motivation to teachers and students on their journey to knowledge.
With a total investment of over 1 billion VND, the project focuses on essential infrastructure improvements at the main school site:
- Construction of three new permanent classrooms spanning 160m², replacing the previous temporary structures.
- Upgraded sanitation and bathing facilities, including eight restrooms and two shower areas, enhancing living conditions for semi-boarding students.
The project is expected to be completed by May 2025, providing a safe, modern, and well-equipped learning space for young students, ensuring better conditions for their education.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Trung Kiên, Vice Principal of Bảo Nam 1 Semi-Boarding Primary School, emphasized the profound impact of the “Dream School” Project on students’ lives. He expressed his deep gratitude to all partners and supporters, affirming that this initiative not only improves learning conditions but also serves as an inspiration, empowering students to pursue their dreams and build a brighter future.
Additionally, Mr. Ven Văn Khút, Chairman of Bảo Nam Commune, representing the local government, acknowledged the invaluable support of the project. He assured that the local authorities would facilitate a smooth and efficient construction process, closely monitoring the progress to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the new school facilities.
Beyond infrastructure development, the “Dream School” Project embodies Edufit’s long-term commitment to education, alongside teachers, parents, and students, in the spirit of “Education for the Community.” Each completed school represents a new step forward in nurturing hope and providing children in remote areas with the confidence to learn, grow, and thrive. This journey will continue, spreading sustainable values to communities and the national education system.
