The Dewey Schools is proud to recognize the outstanding students who have successfully earned IB MYP Scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year. Each scholarship represents more than academic excellence—it celebrates students who continuously seek knowledge, embrace challenges, and demonstrate a strong commitment to personal growth.

To secure these prestigious scholarships, applicants underwent a rigorous three-stage selection process, including application review, the MAP assessment, and a personal interview. While the MAP test served as a standardized measure of academic achievement and logical reasoning, the interview stage offered the admissions panel an opportunity to look beyond scores. It was here that students’ individuality, critical thinking skills, and aspirations to create meaningful contributions to society truly came to light.
The selection criteria are rooted in the educational philosophy of the International Baccalaureate (IB), which encourages students to develop multidimensional thinking, connect learning with real-world contexts, and continuously reflect on their learning journey. As such, the IB MYP Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate a strong sense of identity, adaptability, and the potential to become globally minded citizens.

This year’s scholarship recipients include not only exceptional Dewey students but also talented learners from schools such as Nguyễn Siêu Secondary School, TH School, and Nguyễn Tất Thành Secondary & High School, among others. Mr. Nguyễn Bảo Trọng, Director of the IB Programme at The Dewey Schools, shared: “The IB MYP Scholarship goes beyond recognizing current achievements. More importantly, it reflects our confidence in what these students are capable of accomplishing in the future. Among this year’s recipients, we see a remarkable balance between strong academic capability and a genuine sense of responsibility toward the world around them, demonstrated through meaningful community projects. These are the essential qualities that will support their long-term success in the International Baccalaureate programme.”

Today’s achievement is the result of perseverance, responsibility, and a continuous commitment to self-improvement. Congratulations once again to all scholarship recipients. May this milestone inspire you to remain curious, embrace lifelong learning, and pursue even greater goals with confidence in the years ahead.
