The Dewey Schools proudly congratulates Le Bao Chau (Grade 7 Ghent) on winning the Gold Award in the Vocal – Category C – Festival at the Crescendo International Music Festival & Competition (CIMFC) 2026. Bao Chau’s passion for music, unwavering dedication, and perseverance have truly paid off with this remarkable achievement!

Held from 1–5 July at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Crescendo International Music Festival & Competition 2026 brought together more than 1,300 contestants from nine countries and territories, creating an inspiring and professional platform for young artistic talents. Organized under the direction of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the Vietnam National Academy of Music, and professionally endorsed by both the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Vecchi–Tonelli Conservatory (Italy), the competition offered participants valuable opportunities to perform, connect with fellow young musicians from around the world, showcase their artistic abilities, and compete for prestigious scholarships.

As an IB student at The Dewey Schools, Bao Chau has grown in an environment that values a balanced development of academic excellence and personal passions. This Gold Award is a well-deserved recognition of Bao Chau’s talent and consistent efforts, while also reflecting Dewey’s educational philosophy of empowering every student to discover their strengths, nurture their individuality, and confidently pursue what they love. With this strong foundation, our students are encouraged to embrace new challenges, gain meaningful experiences, and continue making their mark on larger stages.
Once again, congratulations to Bao Chau on this outstanding accomplishment! We wish you continued confidence, passion, and many more successes as you pursue your musical journey.
