As the opening whistle echoed across the basketball court, each TDSer’s courage and determination were put to the test. This summer, Dewey athletes continued to make their mark at a series of regional and national basketball tournaments. Behind every pass, every hard-fought possession, and every decisive shot were hundreds of hours of training, countless moments of pushing beyond personal limits, and unwavering trust in their teammates.
Hà Anh (8Torun) chose to challenge herself by competing in two different age categories. Alongside facing older and stronger opponents, she had to adapt to the distinct pace, intensity, and pressure of each tournament. Her efforts earned her a Gold Medal at the National U16 5×5 Youth Basketball Championship and a Silver Medal at the National U18 5×5 Youth Basketball Championship—well-deserved recognition of her resilience and competitive spirit.
Meanwhile, Nam Khánh (8Torun) and his teammates delivered an impressive performance at the Northern U15 5×5 Basketball Championship, securing the Gold Medal. Their victory reflected strong technical skills, teamwork, discipline, and complete trust in one another.
Across other competitions, TDSers Tạ Hoàng Anh, Vũ Lê Minh Khôi, Swaans Nam Levi, Trương Lê Bình Minh, Nguyễn Hoàng Kiên, and Đinh Hoàng Bách also proudly represented Dewey on the winners’ podium, earning Gold and Bronze Medals at city, regional, and national tournaments.
Every medal carries its own story. Yet all of these achievements share the same foundation: the courage to compete, the willingness to take on challenges, and the determination to keep improving after every game.
