Recently, Edufit Education Group and British University Vietnam (BUV) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant milestone in their shared mission to provide Dewey students with access to internationally accredited university programs. This partnership aims to equip students with strong academic foundations, essential skills, and a global mindset to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
As the only international university in Vietnam that awards undergraduate degrees directly accredited by UK institutions such as the University of London, Staffordshire University, University of Stirling, Arts University Bournemouth, Bournemouth University, and Manchester Metropolitan University, BUV offers a truly international learning environment within Vietnam. Students benefit from rigorous academic training and the development of competencies essential for global integration.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Trần Thị Hồng Hạnh, CEO of Edufit, emphasized: “Our collaboration with BUV is driven by the growing demand for high-quality university programs that offer diverse academic pathways aligned with students’ career aspirations. Many Dewey graduates currently studying at BUV have shared highly positive feedback about the university’s environment and academic quality. Moving forward, we aim to further strengthen this partnership, enabling future generations of Dewey students to access reputable international education opportunities.” Professor Rick Bennett, Vice Chancellor of BUV, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting Dewey students through personalized guidance and academic advising, helping them choose suitable majors and learning pathways aligned with their future career goals. Associate Professor James Abdey from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), also Academic Director at the University of London, highlighted the excellence of LSE-led programs and expressed confidence that this partnership will open doors for outstanding students to access world-leading academic programs in the UK and beyond.

Under the agreement, University of London programs—academically directed by LSE and delivered at BUV—will serve as the cornerstone of this strategic partnership. These programs offer flexible study options, including single and dual degree pathways. Notably, many University of London member institutions belong to the prestigious Russell Group, often regarded as the “Ivy League of the UK.”
With academic direction from LSE—ranked among the world’s top 10 institutions for Economics and Econometrics in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025—the programs ensure learning outcomes equivalent to those achieved by students studying in the UK. The curriculum is designed with rigorous academic standards, with a strong focus on social sciences and management disciplines. This enables Dewey students to access international-quality education in Vietnam, optimizing costs compared to studying abroad while still earning globally recognized degrees with strong competitiveness in the international job market.

In addition, BUV and Edufit will jointly implement a comprehensive series of career orientation initiatives, including career seminars, simulated classes, experiential days, and industry networking events. These activities will provide students with practical insights and help them gradually build personalized career pathways aligned with their strengths and aspirations.
Importantly, the partnership also opens early access to international foundation and undergraduate programs at BUV, including the International Foundation Programme and the UK Foundation Programme, helping bridge the gap to advanced education systems. Both institutions are also committed to developing dedicated scholarship schemes to encourage and support talented students in pursuing international academic pathways.
This collaboration between BUV and Edufit represents a strategic step toward building a seamless educational journey, equipping Dewey students with the academic knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to confidently enter international universities and succeed in a global career landscape.
