With just over two weeks to go until the official start of the National High School Graduation Exam, the learning atmosphere among 12th graders at The Dewey Schools remains vibrant and focused—even during the summer break. This is a golden period for students to intensify their revision, reinforce their knowledge, sharpen test-taking skills, and mentally prepare for this pivotal milestone.
Supported wholeheartedly by their dedicated teachers, students are attending completely free review classes focused on the three core subjects: Mathematics, Literature, and English. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, closely aligned with the Ministry of Education and Training’s guidelines, ensuring that students are well-equipped to tackle the exam with confidence.
Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hiền, homeroom teacher of class 12Denver shared, “Since March, our students have been engaged in intensive revision. In these final weeks, they are focusing on mock exams, knowledge consolidation, and improving their test-taking speed. The review classes are divided into three levels based on students’ proficiency, so each learner has a personalized study pathway. Rather than placing pressure on results, the school encourages students to prioritize their health, maintain a positive mindset, and follow healthy routines to be in peak condition for the exam.”
Reflecting on his preparation journey, Thái Long from class 12Detroit said, “Studying at school with my teachers and classmates helps me retain information more effectively than studying alone at home.” He also shared that he feels confident in Math, despite this year’s exam featuring a different structure and higher difficulty level than previous years. Thanks to early exposure to the official sample format, he feels well-prepared. Although already holding an IELTS certificate, Long has chosen to take the English exam as well—for the challenge and experience.
The 2025 National High School Graduation Exam will take place from June 25 to 28. Dewey students are making every day count as they prepare for this crucial turning point in their academic journey. We wish all TDSers resilience, calm, confidence, and outstanding success in the upcoming exam!
