At advanced academic competitions, Dewey students have demonstrated outstanding abilities against rigorous evaluation standards. A notable highlight is the result at the District-Level Academic Olympiad, where highly differentiated exam papers serve as clear evidence of students’ solid knowledge foundation and strong exam resilience in a highly competitive environment.
In addition, at the National rounds of the IKLC, IKSC, and SEAMO competitions, students continue to showcase exceptional competence through their flexible application of interdisciplinary knowledge in Mathematics, English, and Science to solve real-world problems.
Each medal represents a journey of courage to take on challenges and a strong desire to broaden one’s worldview. The District-Level Academic Olympiad for the 2025–2026 school year is a platform designed to identify and nurture students from schools in the region who demonstrate outstanding abilities in subjects such as Mathematics, Literature, English, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. Through highly selective examinations, students develop critical thinking skills, exam resilience, and stronger preparation for higher-level academic competitions.
The National Round of the International Kangaroo Language Contest (IKLC) is an academic competition for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, designed to assess English proficiency through standardized tests. The contest emphasizes reading comprehension, logical thinking, and the application of English in real-life situations.
The National Round of the International Kangaroo Science Contest (IKSC) is an intellectual competition for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, featuring bilingual English–Vietnamese exam papers. The test focuses on evaluating logical thinking and the ability to apply natural science knowledge to real-world contexts rather than purely theoretical learning.
The National Round of the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) 2026 is conducted in English and is open to students from primary to high school levels. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions covering arithmetic, algebra, geometry, combinatorics, and logic, aiming to assess students’ problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
