The Dewey Schools was honored to welcome a delegation from School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia), along with representatives from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, for a campus visit, professional exchange, and educational discussion. More than another milestone in Dewey’s international partnerships, the visit further strengthened the educational ties between Vietnam and Mongolia.
The delegation included Ms. Ngo Thi Diep Lan, Deputy Head of the Division for Private and Foreign-Invested Education, and Ms. Pham Thi Le Huyen, Specialist from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

Founded in 1949, School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh is one of Mongolia’s most historic educational institutions. Carrying the name of President Ho Chi Minh for decades stands as a remarkable symbol of the enduring friendship between Vietnam and Mongolia while serving as a bridge for preserving and promoting the cultural values shared by both nations.
During the meeting, representatives from both schools shared insights into their educational philosophies, governance models, and strategic directions in today’s rapidly evolving global education landscape. United by a student-centered approach and a shared commitment to holistic development, the two schools exchanged ideas on innovative teaching practices, language education, digital transformation, and building happy learning environments.

A key highlight of the discussion was the mutual commitment to gradually launching collaborative programs for both teachers and students. Initiatives such as virtual exchanges, shared educational resources, and interdisciplinary projects in culture, history, science, and the arts will lay the foundation for future exchange programs, study visits, and immersive learning experiences.
Mr. Bayval Choidorj, Principal of School No. 14, shared: “We are truly looking forward to the upcoming collaborative programs between our two schools, creating more opportunities for teachers and students from Mongolia and Vietnam to learn from one another, build meaningful connections, and grow together.”

At The Dewey Schools, every international partnership is built with the goal of creating authentic learning opportunities for both students and educators. Through these meaningful connections, Dewey students gain exposure to diverse cultures, broaden their global perspectives, and strengthen the collaboration skills essential for an increasingly interconnected world.
This visit further reinforces The Dewey Schools’ position as a trusted destination for international educational partners while paving the way for many meaningful collaborative initiatives between Vietnam and Mongolia in the years ahead.
