Dare to think. Dare to act. Dare to make a difference.
Daring to think, daring to act, and daring to make a difference — that’s the spirit the Dewey Student Council (DSC) hopes to bring to the 2026–2027 school year.

The official launch of DSC took place in the presence of the School Leadership Team, teachers, and parent representatives, who came together to celebrate the new council. Looking back on a year filled with memorable moments, the DSC team is even more excited to begin a new chapter.
This year, DSC hopes to build a community where every TDSer feels heard, has opportunities to explore and develop their strengths, and can spread positive energy to those around them.

The ceremony also introduced the Executive Board and the four specialized teams: Student Ambassadors, Operations, Communications, and Finance. Each team brings its own strengths and responsibilities, but all will work together to turn TDSers’ creative ideas into real-life initiatives.
The DSC 2026–2027 journey has officially begun! Follow along and stay tuned for the council’s upcoming activities!

——————-
The Dewey Student Council (DSC) represents the student voice and serves as a bridge between TDSers, teachers, and the school. By proposing ideas, helping organize activities, and contributing to their community, students get to take ownership, practise leadership and collaboration, and learn to take responsibility for their decisions.
