Attention! Attention! Nearly 200 “travelers” have been spotted carrying a very special passport. But instead of heading to Cat Bi International Airport, they all gathered at The Dewey Schools Hai Phong. They are the passengers of Flight DEWEY 2026–2027, ready to take off on an inspiring new academic journey!
The first stop began with a heartfelt “Welcome Home” moment for all teachers and staff members. Whether they had just joined the Dewey family or had “traveled far only to return home,” everyone was welcomed with warm hugs, resounding applause, and joyful smiles. The ceremonial passing of the Torch of Knowledge then symbolized a shared commitment: to uphold the Dewey spirit and work toward one common goal—creating a meaningful and enriching learning journey for every student.
The next destination brought everyone to a miniature Vietnam, where the vibrant colors of the Northwest Highlands, the rich flavors of Central Vietnam, the lively rhythms of the South, and the rustic charm of the North came together in one unforgettable experience. Along the way, participants recharged through exciting sports activities, thrilling matches, and enthusiastic cheers that echoed across the campus.
This year’s journey was made even more special by the presence of distinguished “passengers,” including members of the Dewey Parent Council, representatives from schools, and partner organizations across Hai Phong City. All were deeply impressed by the strong sense of unity, passion, and community spirit that defines The Dewey Schools Hai Phong.
Ms. Thu Huyen, a member of the Dewey Parent Council, shared:
“What impressed me most was not only the vibrant atmosphere of the event, but also the teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication the teachers demonstrated as they prepared for the new school year. As a parent, I feel truly reassured knowing that behind every lesson my child receives is a team that is constantly learning, supporting one another, and wholeheartedly committed to every student.”
The Dewey Schools Hai Phong would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all teachers, staff members, and parents for their unwavering support in building a connected Dewey community and accompanying every student on their journey of growth.
Most importantly, Flight DEWEY 2026–2027 marks the beginning of a truly meaningful chapter as The Dewey Schools Hai Phong celebrates its 10th anniversary. Ten years is a milestone to be proud of, but it is also the starting point for many new journeys—where dreams continue to take flight and soar even higher into the future.
