After five intense and challenging games, the Dewey High School boys’ basketball team brilliantly claimed the championship title at the Junior Vietnam Basketball Tournament*. Entering the season with strong determination, the players demonstrated consistent performance, upheld the spirit of fair play, and showed great teamwork throughout the competition.

The final was a thrilling showdown between Dewey and Marie Curie Văn Phú. From the very first minutes, both teams played with confidence and intensity. Despite facing a strong opponent, Dewey quickly took control with sharp offensive plays and a series of accurate shots. With disciplined, creative gameplay and excellent coordination, Dewey dominated the match and secured an impressive 75–57 victory, officially claiming the top position of the tournament.
This remarkable win was highlighted by outstanding individual performances. With an excellent display in the final, Thạch Đỗ Hoàng Anh (12 Detroit) scored 14 points and was awarded the Match MVP. Meanwhile, Tạ Hoàng Anh (11 Baltimore), the team’s key offensive player, scored a total of 67 points throughout the tournament, earning the Scoring Leader title.
