Creativity, technological innovation, and real-world practicality were on full display at the Dolphin Tank Grand Finale. The event became a true “launchpad” for TDSers to showcase their ability to adapt to the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) through three core survival skills: Creativity, Critical Thinking, and Persuasion.
With the theme “Developing startup plans to address social issues in Vietnam,” the competition attracted 47 participants across 18 teams. After a challenging two-month journey with two intense qualifying rounds, the top 5 teams advanced to the final stage. Here, they presented impressive projects powered by AI native thinking. Students proactively integrated technology into the very core of their ideas to balance profitability with sustainability.

Their solutions were highly practical: from AI-powered personalized career guidance platforms that analyze user data, to digital income–expense tracking systems supporting small businesses, and even therapeutic café models designed to help young people “digitally detox.” Their fluent use of digital platforms demonstrated Dewey students’ readiness to lead and embrace the latest technological waves.
To master such complex solutions, these young entrepreneurs embarked on a journey of self-learning, filling gaps in their real-world knowledge.“There were times when I faced information gaps and had to relearn business fundamentals, research customer acquisition strategies, and absorb all feedback to reach the best conclusions,” shared Hoàng Lâm (10 Victoria). This growth mindset deeply impressed the judging panel. Mr. Đặng Minh Quang (Chairman of the Dewey Parents Association), a judge of the competition, commented: “I’m truly impressed by how teams focused on modern technology trends like AI. With further refinement, these ideas could absolutely be implemented in real life today.”

Contributing to the success of Dolphin Tank was the remarkable growth of the Organizing Committee, made up of 20 members from The Dewey Schools Business Club (SEIA). They independently managed the entire process—from ideation and building marketing and design strategies to proactively connecting with economic experts. Despite academic pressures and exams, they demonstrated strong leadership and goal management, turning plans on paper into a successful, large-scale competition.
Dolphin Tank has truly awakened a spirit of ownership and proactivity among TDSers in their pursuit of passion. Here, students learned that business is about using Creativity to solve social problems, Critical Thinking to navigate uncertainty, and Persuasion to connect like-minded individuals. These invaluable experiences will serve as a strong foundation, empowering them to bring their ideas to life and confidently face future challenges.
