Last week, the “resident reporters” at Dewey Hải Phòng noticed some unexpected signs of a cheerful “intrusion.” Across the campus—from the cafeteria and football field to classrooms, the library, and the multi-purpose hall—tiny footprints could be seen moving everywhere. And wherever those little footsteps went, laughter and excitement quickly followed.

As it turned out, the visitors were young students from Hải Đăng Xanh and Maple Bear preschools. During their half-day “study abroad program,” the children had the opportunity to explore a variety of activities across different spaces in the school. On the football field, the tiny feet turned into energetic young players, eagerly dribbling the ball and enjoying the game. In the cafeteria, they experienced what it’s like to be Grade 1 students—serving themselves, enjoying a meal “as delicious as mom’s cooking,” and cleaning up afterward.
In the classrooms, the children became “young explorers,” discovering English with native-speaking teachers, and “little botanists,” planting seeds and learning about the wonders of nature. Each activity offered new knowledge and helped the children experience Dewey Hải Phòng’s vibrant and experiential learning environment.

The joyful morning concluded with the children leaving Dewey with adorable “treasures”: tote bags, lovely cards, and one-of-a-kind photos prepared by Dewey Hải Phòng. From their initial shyness, the children quickly adapted to the rhythm of primary school life and enthusiastically embraced new experiences.
The journey of these little “dolphins” toward the vast ocean begins with such small and lovely steps. At Dewey Hải Phòng, students grow in a progressive learning environment where knowledge and character are nurtured through experience, while independence and confidence are cultivated—essential qualities that prepare them to step into the wider world ahead.
