Returning to the academic arena after the long Lunar New Year holiday, Dewey students have shown that their determination and competitive spirit remain stronger than ever. They continue to extend Dewey’s proud legacy at prestigious academic competitions such as the Global English Language Olympiad of Southeast Asia (GELOSEA), the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO), and the Canadian Senior/Intermediate Mathematics Contest, among others.
Many outstanding students have earned medals across a wide range of subjects, affirming their strong academic capabilities and relentless drive to excel. Beyond the familiar academic disciplines, Minh Ngọc (11Denton) achieved the outstanding prize at the Vietnam Economics Olympiad, marking an impressive milestone for Dewey students in emerging academic fields.
Across every competition, TDSers have made a strong impression with their sharp thinking and confident presence when facing formidable opponents. Through experiential learning and diverse project-based activities at Dewey, students develop practical competencies and logical reasoning skills. These experiences enable them to approach mathematical problems from multiple perspectives and respond flexibly to real-world scenarios embedded in competition questions.
Keeping pace with the rapid development of science and technology, Dewey representatives also demonstrated impressive programming abilities, earning a Silver Medal at the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Vietnam. Meanwhile, TDSers’ English proficiency has been strongly affirmed in international competitions, showcasing solid grammatical foundations and the ability to use the language flexibly at an advanced level.
With the goal of nurturing well-rounded individuals, Dewey continually strives to create an open, dynamic, and creative learning environment that encourages every student to push beyond their own limits. Today’s achievements are the well-deserved fruits of a journey defined by courage—the courage to explore, to challenge oneself, and to grow every single day.
Once again, congratulations to the outstanding students of The Dewey Schools! May you continue to keep your passion for learning alive and shine brightly on the exciting journey of knowledge ahead.
