The Summer Break Division kicks off their holiday in a whole new way: no more iPads, TVs, or phones, instead, they begin a 10-day adventure at Summer Explorers Camp!
From the early morning hours, the Dewey campus was abuzz with the excited footsteps of our summer break students. Backpacks on their shoulders, bright smiles on their faces, and brimming with energy, the children were ready to step into the roles of young explorers, embarking on a truly memorable journey. On just the first day, campers quickly broke the ice with friendly handshakes, bursts of laughter, and an engaging series of team-building games. The lively atmosphere spread throughout Dewey, signaling the start of a vibrant and unforgettable summer!
Each day at Summer Explorers Camp is a magical adventure into a “universe of experiences,” designed to awaken the senses, ignite curiosity, and inspire children to embrace new challenges. Over the course of 10 days, campers will:
- Boost their physical health through sports and active games that build strength, endurance, and flexibility.
- Unleash their creativity through a variety of activities in visual arts, music, design, and performance – where imagination soars and artistic personalities shine.
- Develop essential life skills via teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional regulation – all vital tools for their future journeys.
- Connect with nature through outdoor excursions, where they learn to observe, engage, and appreciate the fresh air and natural surroundings.
Each activity is a “puzzle piece” contributing to an unforgettable journey—one that helps children grow, mature, and thrive. Every day at Summer Explorers Camp brings a new, magical story waiting to be told!
