With the need to thoroughly inspect and evaluate the safety and quality of every meal served to students, The Dewey Schools organized a field trip to three of the school’s food suppliers. This was an opportunity for parents and the school to directly learn about the origins, farming processes, production, and preparation of the food used daily.

After traveling nearly 20 kilometers, the first stop of the group was Đông Thành Joint Stock Company – the supplier of Australian beef. As shared during the visit, imported cattle must undergo strict inspections before entering the slaughtering process. The beef portions are then processed and delivered to various locations within the same day, ensuring cleanliness, freshness, and high nutritional value in every meal served to students. This reassures parents and the school, especially in a market where frozen or unclear-origin beef products are widespread.

Concluding the first visit, the group arrived at Hải Quang Company’s noodle and pho production facility. With a long-established history, the facility is equipped with modern, hygienic machinery and operates under ISO standards. Upon entering the factory, parents could sense the stringent food safety measures in place, from production equipment to operational procedures. The rice noodles and pho—made from pure rice—are produced and delivered to suppliers on the same day.

The final stop was the Bắc Hà Clean Vegetable Farm at Tiền Lệ Agricultural Cooperative in Hoài Đức District. Here, the group listened to and observed the process of growing and harvesting VietGAP-certified vegetables, especially leafy varieties. A key factor contributing to the quality of the vegetables is the nutrient-rich alluvial soil used for cultivation.

According to Ms. Nguyễn Thị Chi, a parent participating in the trip, “After this experience, I feel reassured and confident in the quality, nutritional value, and food safety of the products supplied to the school.”
At Dewey, the focus is not only on providing nutritious, safe, and delicious meals but also on building a comprehensive nutritional ecosystem that is transparent and professional. From certified ingredients and strict one-way kitchen operations to menus designed by nutrition experts, every element aims toward a single goal: ensuring every Dewey student is nurtured through safe, scientific, and nutritious meals. This is a key advantage that helps Dewey become a holistic educational environment where students’ health and development are always the top priority.
