The Dewey Student Council (DSC) election season has officially kicked off—and it has quickly become the center of attention across the Dewey community! Within less than a month since its launch, the campaign has already received enthusiastic support and participation from a large number of students.
The DSC is a student-founded and student-led organization, serving as the vital bridge between Students – Teachers – and the School. Representing the voice and identity of Dewey students, the DSC not only organizes and supports various school events but also contributes to creating a positive, fair, and creative learning environment while spreading Dewey’s core values and unique identity.

After the class-level voting round, outstanding candidates are now competing in the second stage of the election to secure key leadership positions within the DSC:
- 01 President: Students from Grades 11–12
- 03 Vice Presidents: Students from Grades 10–12
- 01 Secretary: Students from Grades 9–12
- 01 Treasurer: Students from Grades 9–12
Through English campaign videos, TDSers confidently showcase their personalities, passion for contribution, and impressive public speaking skills. Notably, both Vietnamese and international students are running for positions, highlighting the spirit of diversity, democracy, and global citizenship at Dewey.
The DSC election is not only a competitive playground but also a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate unity, respect, self-reliance, and responsibility—while sharpening essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership.
