An exciting summer has come to a close, and The Dewey Schools is delighted to welcome back our teachers as we prepare to continue writing new and brilliant chapters for the 2024-2025 school year. To recharge energy and strengthen solidarity, the “Back to School” event for our teaching staff took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, marking the beginning of a promising new journey.
At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Thanh, the Executive Director of The Dewey Schools, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the entire teaching team for their relentless efforts and dedication over the past school year. Notably, the outstanding success of our 12th-grade students, who achieved a 100% pass rate on the national high school graduation exam, along with impressive statistics such as 100% of students achieving a perfect score in English (converted to IELTS), 96% scoring above 7 in Literature, and 56% scoring above 7 in Mathematics, is a clear testament to the teachers’ commitment and professionalism.
“The educational philosophy of The Dewey Schools focuses on students’ development through self-learning and self-education, helping them become independent, responsible individuals with a rich soul, fostering a passion for lifelong learning. In the new school year, The Dewey Schools Tay Ho Tay welcomes approximately 1,400 students and aims for four major goals, including: enhancing teachers’ abilities in differentiated instruction; creating a deep understanding of the foundational statements, vision, and mission of high-quality teaching; providing opportunities for students to demonstrate bilingual capabilities; and realizing the mission to empower students to master global change and become leaders with a positive impact on the community,” emphasized Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Thanh.
In this school year, The Dewey Schools Tay Ho Tay is also delighted to welcome 40 new teachers and operational staff who are committed to upholding our three foundational statements: High-Quality Learning and Teaching, Global Citizenship and Intercultural Learning, and Digital Citizenship. These principles form the core teaching philosophy at The Dewey Schools this year.
This occasion is not only an opportunity to reflect on the journey we have traveled but also a significant moment to celebrate the 13th anniversary of the Edufit Education Corporation. Over the past 13 years, Edufit has become a trusted choice for parents and students, thanks to the dedication, passion, and collaboration of our leadership, staff, and teachers.
With new enthusiasm, confidence, and excitement, The Dewey Schools is committed to achieving our set goals and continuing to break through and reach further on our educational journey.
