Recently, at the Conference on Reviewing the Pilot Project of the Integrated (Dual Diploma) Program organized by the People’s Committee of Hanoi, Ms. Trần Thị Hồng Hạnh – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Superintendent of The Dewey Schools – was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for her outstanding achievements in managing and delivering the Dual Diploma High School Program.

Mr. Trần Thế Cương, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, highly appreciated the effectiveness of the pilot integrated (dual diploma) program implemented at several schools in Hanoi. A highlight was Hanoi’s achievement in the 2025 National High School Graduation Examination, where the city led the nation in English subject scores. He emphasized that the program is a true model for global citizen education, combining Vietnamese values with international intellect. Students in the dual diploma program excel in academic English, critical thinking, adaptability, and essential life skills. In the coming time, Hanoi will further promote the implementation of Government Decree 202/2025/NĐ-CP on educational cooperation and integrated programs at public preschools and K-12 institutions across the city.

It can be seen that general education is oriented towards equipping young generations with foreign language proficiency, global citizenship knowledge, and skills. This is a solid foundation for The Dewey Schools to remain steadfast on its journey of building a modern, sustainable international education environment—empowering generations of students with the knowledge and skills necessary to master change and become positive leaders in communities wherever they live.

The Dewey Schools implements the international Dual Diploma Adventure Program in partnership with Mount Vernon School (MVS) in the United States, approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. Up to 85% of learning time is conducted in English, taught 100% by international teachers, covering 7 U.S. standard subjects integrated from MVS. Upon graduation, students earn both the Vietnamese High School Diploma and the U.S. High School Diploma, globally recognized and providing a competitive edge in university admissions. In the 2024–2025 academic year, 69.7% of Dewey Schools students received early admission offers from universities at home and abroad, with a total of VND 153 billion in scholarships awarded by prestigious institutions.
