Behind every medal and award lies a journey of dedication and perseverance. With determination and a willingness to challenge themselves, TDSers have continued to make their mark through impressive achievements in various arts and sports arenas both locally and internationally, steadily showcasing their talent and resilience.
TDSers continued their streak of success on music and arts stages: Khang Nguyen (1Singapore) and Linh Chi (6Nottingham) won Gold and Silver respectively at the Asia Pacific International Arts Festival (APIAF), while Minh Vu (12Detroit) earned a Silver Medal at the Instrumental Talent Festival for General Education Students. These competitions provide valuable opportunities for students to perform, connect with peers, and further develop their artistic identities.
In sports, TDSers also demonstrated strong competitive spirit and confidence. Nguyen Kien (6Nottingham) secured a Gold Medal and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title at the The Sound of Legends 2026 Basketball Tournament, impressing with his skills and outstanding performance. Meanwhile, Anh Minh (7Ghent) showcased remarkable focus and strategic thinking to achieve a Consolation Prize and Top 5/198 players in the Grade 6–7 Boys Amateur Division at the Tien Phong & Nhi Dong Newspaper Student Chess Tournament 2025–2026.
These achievements not only reflect the results of consistent training, but also mark important milestones in each TDSer’s journey of self-discovery and personal growth. At Dewey, students are encouraged to pursue their passions and develop their unique strengths through a diverse experiential ecosystem spanning arts, sports, and academics—broadening perspectives, strengthening abilities, and empowering them to move forward with confidence.
Congratulations to our TDSers on these remarkable accomplishments. We hope they will continue nurturing their passions, gaining valuable experiences, and building the confidence to take on new challenges ahead.
