The Dewey Schools U14 basketball team had an intensely thrilling and impressive match, securing a convincing victory against the team from Olympia Middle School to advance to the semi-finals of the Vietnam Students Basketball League.
The third quarter-final match began with a solid start, featuring a tug-of-war situation between both teams. The score was closely contested with continuous back-and-forth exchanges. After the conclusion of the first two halves, the Dewey boys had the lead on the scoreboard.
Entering the third half, the TDSers accelerated to take control of the game, deploying a solid defensive strategy that made it nearly impossible for Olympia Middle School to break through. This tactic allowed the Dewey team to establish a substantial lead of nearly 20 points.
In the final half, there were moments when the point difference narrowed, but once again, the TDSers U14 reaffirmed their resilience and confidence with another impressive comeback.
In the end, thanks to a well-coordinated team strategy and skillful gameplay, The Dewey Schools basketball team secured a convincing victory with a score of 43-34 against Olympia Middle School, earning their place in the semi-finals.
Particularly noteworthy, congratulations to student Truong Le Binh Minh for outstandingly scoring 14 points and being awarded the title of Player of the Game in the third quarter-final match.
