“Behind every student who believes in themselves is a teacher who believed in them first. Thank you, teacher!”
This small letter pinned to the tree trunk in the “Garden of Gratitude” at Lobby E reflects the collective message many TDSers wished to send to their teachers on Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20. Initiated by the Dewey Student Council (DSC), the “Garden of Gratitude” represents the heartfelt sentiments of all Dewey students, who wanted to express love and appreciation to the teachers they deeply cherish.

Each heart-shaped note carries a message, a memorable moment, or simply a gesture of appreciation for the teachers who have quietly accompanied us every day. We were also delighted to receive many warm and lovely messages from teachers in return.

The spirit of gratitude for November 20 filled the school campus. Walking through Lobby E, one could see vibrant wall newspapers on display, showcasing the dedication and creativity of TDSers. Every carefully written line and every vivid illustration not only highlight artistic talents and poetic imagination, but also convey sweet and sincere appreciation for our teachers.
On behalf of all Dewey students, the DSC extends our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to teachers on this special occasion. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, passion for teaching, and patient guidance every single day. We also thank our fellow students for adding beautiful “leaves” to the “Garden of Gratitude,” helping us create a warm and meaningful celebration of November 20.
