Laughter and sparkling, curious eyes set the tone for an exciting real-world learning journey as young TDSers stepped into the “career city” of KidZania. This immersive trip offered students a vibrant opportunity to explore the world around them—and discover their own hidden potential—through inspiring role-play activities.

In this miniature city, students were empowered to take on various roles such as pilots navigating flights, doctors in emergency rooms, or brave firefighters. With access to more than 40 professions, the experience created an environment that nurtured independence. By carrying out real job processes—from putting on uniforms to following technical procedures—each student learned to observe, listen, and act responsibly within their assigned role.
One of the most meaningful highlights of the trip was how naturally students developed teamwork and a sense of sharing. At the bank, supermarket, hospital, or newsroom, they collaborated, discussed, and divided tasks to complete entire work processes. Through this, communication and problem-solving skills were gradually strengthened. Students began to realize that even small individual contributions, when combined, could create meaningful collective outcomes—fostering teamwork and appreciation for the efforts of others.

In addition, interacting with the city’s unique currency system provided valuable lessons about how society operates. These “young citizens” experienced the pride of earning rewards for completed tasks, forming early understandings of planning and managing personal spending. This approach helped them see that joy comes with effort, and every choice carries its own value.

Stepping beyond the familiar classroom and immersing themselves in a dynamic simulated society, students became more confident, resilient, and empathetic. These unspoken lessons—about perseverance, discipline, and the joy of discovery—serve as essential building blocks for developing a positive mindset and proactive attitude toward real life. Each experience becomes a stepping stone toward their well-rounded growth.
