Inside-out shirts, mismatched slippers, off-tone socks, and countless hilarious accessories — all combined to create a delightfully humorous and wildly creative fashion scene on Day 4 of Spirit Week. From our little elementary “fashionistas” to confident high schoolers, everyone showed off their individuality through one-of-a-kind outfits.

With the theme “Opposite Day,” Dewey transformed into a spontaneous runway. Down every hallway, students dressed as green frogs, pumpkins, and even walking bananas brought laughter wherever they went. Not to be outdone, Grade 12 students confidently strutted their stuff — in their moms’ and grandmas’ clothes! Adding to the fun, teachers joined the celebration by swapping genders through their outfits, blurring the lines between teachers and students in bursts of joyful laughter.

“Opposite Day” was more than just a day of costumes and comedy — it was a celebration of courage, creativity, and authenticity. Beneath the laughter lay a meaningful lesson about openness, respect for diversity, and embracing every unique color of individuality. This is the very spirit of future global citizens — those who dare to stand out as they step confidently into the world.
