The Business Club of The Dewey Schools SEIA is a club under the Student Entrepreneurship Innovation Association (SEIA), a nationwide student-led organization in Vietnam focusing on business and entrepreneurship. After successfully advancing through the SEIA Fall Competition and SEIA Spring Competition, Dewey SEIA members continued to challenge themselves at the SEIA National Round, which gathered the top 16 teams from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the national level, Dewey’s “warriors” took on a series of challenges centered around three core areas of business: Marketing, Service, and Finance. Taking on the roles of young entrepreneurs, club members worked together to solve typical business problems, such as handling a communication crisis for a fashion brand, building human resource management strategies, and analyzing financial reports. Each challenge required strong planning skills, market analysis, and strategic thinking in business.
Although it is their first year since establishment and most members are new to the field of business, Dewey SEIA has demonstrated remarkable progress through each club session. From foundational knowledge to presentation, communication, and logical thinking skills, members have continuously improved and gradually affirmed their capabilities through academic competitions.

After two days of intense competition in Ho Chi Minh City, although they did not secure an award, Dewey SEIA’s journey brought valuable experiences. Throughout the competition, members strengthened their ability to maintain high concentration, work persistently, and remain resilient when facing complex tasks. Notably, to solve each business challenge, they engaged in continuous discussions and dynamic debates. Beyond specialized knowledge, members also flexibly integrated interdisciplinary understanding—from psychology, economics, and technology to the arts—to create innovative solutions that impressed the judges.

The trip to Ho Chi Minh City was not merely a competition, but also a journey of connecting like-minded individuals passionate about business and entrepreneurship. The companionship, sharing, and inspiration among members helped build a united, enthusiastic, and ambitious Dewey SEIA community. With this spirit, the club promises to continue expanding its network of students passionate about business and to offer more meaningful and practical learning experiences in the future.
