Since the groundbreaking ceremony on February 19, the Bao Nam 1 Primary School (in Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province) has been under construction with the supervision of the contractor, ensuring the progress, quality, and efficiency of the work.
This is a significant milestone in the project “Schools of dream” run by Sakura Montessori with the involvement of Sakura Montessori and The Dewey Schools, improving learning conditions for young children in need for a better future.
All the work from digging, filling, and pouring foundation to the installation of steel columns are well scheduled, ensuring proper implementation as committed. By March 15, rough framing and plumbing have been completed, and construction is entering the stage of drywall and interior fixtures.
The construction is expected to complete for handover early in May 2025.

*Charity project “Schools of dream” was launched by Edufit in 2014 to: build schools and relevant facilities, provide teaching equipment and school supplies, deliver knowledge and skills to young children of minor ethnic groups in remote and mountainous areas. By far, the project has built and renovated 13 schools in 8 provinces and is aiming to achieve 20+ schools by 2030.
Beyond building schools, the project is the commitment of Edufit to “education for community”. Each construction completed is another step on the road to nurturing faith and facilitating children in remote and mountainous areas to keep up with their learning and strive for a better life. This journey will continue to promote and provide sustainable values to the community and foster local education.
