27 countries, 5 continents – an entire miniature world brought to life by the hands and boundless creativity of TDSers. With an international spirit, a passion for exploration, and a readiness to embrace cultural diversity, Dewey students created a vibrant and colorful International Day.

International Day 2025 is one of the largest interdisciplinary English projects of the school year at The Dewey Schools Tây Hồ Tây. Under the theme “Global Giggles – Laughter Across Continents,” the event took students on an unforgettable journey filled with joy and rich cultural experiences.

For two weeks, TDSers delved into the cultures, histories, geographies, and fascinating stories of different continents. Their research culminated in the recreation of a global village within Dewey, where Asia’s deep-rooted traditions, Europe’s timeless architecture, America’s dynamic energy, and Africa’s untamed beauty were vividly brought to life through interactive exhibits and creative displays.

The campus was adorned with vibrant national flags, and over 40 meticulously designed booths featured iconic landmarks, traditional arts and crafts workshops, authentic cuisines, and engaging activities. Visitors had the chance to experience the delicate art of Japanese Origami, savor Mexico’s famous Tortilla, or immerse themselves in a classic British afternoon tea.

Kiều Trinh (11Orlando) shared: “For this event, our class, along with 11Baltimore, represented Egypt. Over two weeks, we explored the Nile River civilization, one of the world’s oldest cultures. From legendary symbols like Pharaohs and the Great Pyramids of Giza to the ancient hieroglyphic writing system, we recreated everything through models crafted by our own hands. This was not only a chance to refine our teamwork skills but also a meaningful journey in appreciating the richness of global cultures.”
