Each child possesses a unique personality, set of interests, and learning pace. Therefore, every student requires a personalized learning pathway, supported by close collaboration between family and school. Understanding this, The Dewey Schools annually organize the Parent Orientation Event, laying the foundation to maximize each student’s potential.

During the event, parents gain a deeper understanding of Dewey’s pedagogical focus on differentiated instruction. Each lesson is a tailored experience, designed according to the needs, interests, and learning style of each student. The teaching team conducts one-on-one sessions to understand each child’s personality, passions, and preferences, thereby developing an appropriate approach and learning pathway. The school encourages parents to actively participate, creating a space for students to take ownership of their learning, cultivate their passions, and explore their learning styles, enabling teachers to design effective learning plans. At Dewey, parents are not merely providers of knowledge but partners and guides in their children’s growth journey.

During the meeting, the School Leadership presented core educational philosophies and methods centered around three key pillars: Global Citizenship and Intercultural Learning, Digital Citizenship, and High-Quality Teaching and Learning. These serve as guiding principles, reflecting a long-term commitment to creating a modern learning environment where students can become the best version of themselves.

Concluding the meeting, Ms. Phạm Tuyết Mai, parent of Tuệ An, Grade 3 Mumbai, enthusiastically shared, “I am genuinely impressed and satisfied with the school’s meticulous preparation. From the organized and well-maintained facilities to the clear, comprehensive, and friendly exchanges between teachers and parents, everything was exemplary. Today’s experiences have strengthened my conviction that Dewey is an ideal environment, where children not only acquire knowledge but are nurtured and developed holistically in both skills and character.”

The Parent Orientation Event also provides parents with fresh insights into modern educational methods and practical ways to apply them at home, fostering a collaborative journey with the school in nurturing confident, capable global citizens.
