Recently, the Dewey Tay Ho Tay Community Fund convened its first meeting of the new term, officially launching a series of charitable activities for the 2025–2026 school year.

This year’s organizational structure continues to include two main bodies: the Fund’s Executive Board and the Advisory Board. The Executive Board consists of 11 members, chaired by Mr. Dương Hồng Phúc – Principal and Academic Director of the Vietnamese Program for Secondary and High School – alongside representatives of the Dewey Parents Association (DPA). The Executive Board is responsible for planning, setting themes, objectives, budget allocations, and timelines for each charitable program throughout the year.

The Advisory Board comprises 13 members who contribute ideas, support implementation, monitor progress, and report on fundraising activities to ensure that every project is executed on schedule and achieves maximum impact. In his remarks at the meeting, Mr. Dương Hồng Phúc emphasized that the Fund remains committed to its guiding principle from the previous term: to foster a spirit of generosity and help students develop a deeper sense of responsibility toward themselves, their families, and society. Through the Fund’s activities, students have the opportunity to spread values of compassion while honing initiative and creativity by directly engaging in fundraising, project planning, and operations. These experiences serve as a solid foundation for their growth into global citizens who make a positive impact wherever they live.

For the 2025–2026 school year, the Dewey Tay Ho Tay Community Fund will continue its humanitarian journey with three main activity groups:
- “Gifts of Love”: Distributing gifts and organizing cultural exchange performances for pediatric patients and children with disabilities through the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program, bringing warmth and affection during the festive season.
- “Compassionate Journey”: Donating warm clothing, toys, and Tet gifts to underprivileged children via the “Spring of Love” program, helping them experience the warmth and togetherness of the Lunar New Year.
- “Supporting Steps to School”: Providing bicycles, building bridges, and sponsoring facilities and teaching equipment to improve learning conditions for students in remote areas, giving them greater motivation to continue their education.
Fundraising activities will be conducted through direct contributions and annual events such as Family Day and the Tet Market.

This inaugural meeting laid a strong foundation for the Fund’s upcoming endeavors. With the active participation of students, parents, teachers, and staff, the 2025–2026 school year’s charitable initiatives will continue to spread positive, humanistic values and help nurture a community of sharing and compassion.
