Returning to the pool after the Tet holiday, Dewey’s young swimmers made a strong impression at the Giải Vô Địch Bơi Lội Các Câu Lạc Bộ Hà Nội (Hanoi Clubs Swimming Championships 2026), a competition welcoming around 150 athletes each day. With an impressive total of 35 medals — including 12 Gold, 12 Silver, and 11 Bronze — the Dewey Swim Team proudly secured 3rd place overall. Notably, swimmer Khanh Hung (7Stockholm) was honored with the U12 Most Valuable Player (MVP) title.

Refusing to let the long Tet break interrupt their training journey, many TDSers proactively arranged their schedules to continue practicing during the days leading up to Tet. As a result, throughout the two competition days, Dewey swimmers delivered strong performances across individual events such as freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, as well as team events including relays and medley races. With short intervals between heats and some athletes competing in multiple events consecutively, each team member gave their utmost effort while encouraging one another. This spirit of unity and dedication truly reflects their pride in representing Dewey.

From their early days of gaining experience in various competitions, the Dewey Swim Team has now grown confident enough to stand alongside some of the city’s strongest clubs. This journey reflects continuous growth, resilience, and the courage to challenge and surpass limits.
Behind every medal lies the school’s strategic and long-term investment in student athletics. Dewey not only provides quality facilities but also builds personalized development pathways for each athlete. In particular, the dedicated and experienced coaching team serves as a strong foundation, helping students enhance their techniques, physical endurance, and competitive mindset.

Each competition is a valuable opportunity for Dewey’s young swimmers to strengthen their stamina, discipline, determination, and team spirit — core values that will accompany them throughout their growth journey. Today’s achievement marks a solid stepping stone toward even greater milestones ahead.
Congratulations once again to the Dewey Swim Team!
