The festive spirit of Tết has filled The Dewey Schools in brilliant shades of red and gold. Yellow apricot blossoms, pink peach flowers, red parallel sentences, and thoughtfully arranged spring displays decorate the campus, giving the entire school a vibrant “new look” full of life and celebration.

In every classroom, spring is “painted” by the skillful hands of TDSers themselves. Each decorative corner is carefully crafted with New Year wishes, lucky red envelopes, and blooming spring flowers, bringing the colors of Tết into every small space. Students eagerly dress in áo dài, confidently posing by the festive corners they helped create. Cheerful laughter and sparkling excitement in their eyes signal that a joyful Tết season is truly just around the corner.

At Dewey, Tết is not only a time for reunion but also a journey of nurturing and celebrating Vietnamese cultural values. Through hands-on activities and decorations, TDSers not only immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere but also gain a deeper understanding of the meaning behind each custom, symbol, and the spirit of Vietnamese spring. Tết thus goes beyond being a traditional cultural event to become an educational journey — where students connect with their roots, develop their personal identity, and grow with a spirit of harmony and global integration.
