Recently, Dewey was once again authorized by the College Board to administer the SAT*, marking the third consecutive year the school has served as an official testing center. This trust from one of the world’s leading educational organizations affirms Dewey’s academic quality, operational capability, and adherence to international standards over the years.

This year’s exam recorded more than 170 registered candidates, including students from Dewey campuses. The SAT is administered in two sessions—December and June—to meet the growing needs of students preparing for overseas study.
To be recognized by the College Board as an official test center, Dewey successfully met a comprehensive set of stringent requirements related to facilities, testing equipment, security procedures, safety supervision, and a highly qualified proctoring team. All exam operations strictly follow international SAT standards, reflecting the professionalism of Dewey’s educational environment.
Hosting the SAT brings practical benefits to students. They can register and take the test right at school, saving time and costs while reducing the stress of traveling to external test sites. A familiar testing environment also helps students maintain a stable mindset and perform at their best on exam day. Dewey students also gain valuable practice opportunities through College Board–designed PSAT tests. Based on score reports and skills assessments, students can clearly identify strengths and areas for improvement, systematically strengthening academic competencies and enhancing SAT preparation outcomes.
As an official testing center, Dewey also gains access to students’ score data and performance analytics. This standardized dataset enables the School to develop accurate academic guidance, design personalized study pathways, and support students’ skill development in a scientific and structured manner.
Serving as an SAT center is a clear demonstration of Dewey’s commitment to elevating students’ academic excellence. All efforts are directed toward helping students improve SAT results with confidence, optimize their study abroad profiles, and be fully prepared to pursue admission to top-tier universities worldwide.
