The grand finale of D-Show 25 marked the conclusion of the journey “The Future Me” — a stage where dreams, passions, and talents of students were brought to life. For the first time, D-Show expanded its scale to include interschool participation, welcoming teams from Brendon Primary School, Phuc Dien Primary School, and Phu Dien Secondary School. More than just a major performing arts event, this milestone represents The Dewey Schools’ vision: to create a shared platform where students can connect, interact, and learn in an open and inspiring environment.
The expansion into an interschool format brought new and diverse colors to D-Show 25. In line with the theme “The Future Me”, participating teams delivered powerful performances across a wide range of art forms. These showcased a courageous generation of global citizens—willing to break the mold, pursue their passions, and strive for community-oriented values.
This spirit reflects the essence of modern education that The Dewey Schools seeks to promote through D-Show 25: learning through experience. The program provided students with the opportunity to explore themselves and develop vital 21st-century global citizenship skills such as collaboration and communication. D-Show 25 also marks the beginning of a broader interschool journey. Building on this success, The Dewey Schools hopes that D-Show 27 will become a bridge connecting students nationwide.
On behalf of the organizing team, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, and the Bac Tu Liem District Department of Education and Training, for their support in enabling The Dewey Schools to collaborate with other schools and expand this year’s D-Show into an interschool event. We believe this is a valuable opportunity for students to engage, exchange ideas, and embody the spirit of global citizens—daring to dream, taking action, and living responsibly.
We also express our sincere gratitude to the teachers and parents who have accompanied, guided, and been a strong source of encouragement for the students throughout their journey. Most especially, we thank the nearly 300 “warriors” from Brendon Primary School, Phuc Dien Primary School, and Phu Dien Secondary School. The D-Show 25 finale marked many “firsts” for these students: their first time performing on a grand stage, their first time participating in a show of nearly 100 performers, and their first time standing in front of over 3,000 audience members. Yet, they overcame every challenge to shine with confidence, courage, and the drive to break through.
We hope the experiences from D-Show 25 will become a source of inspiration for students to keep chasing their dreams, embracing transformation, and confidently shaping their own future. We are proud to walk alongside them on this journey of growth—just as the song “Courage to Change” reminds us:
“You’re not alone in all this
You’re not alone, I promise
Standing together we can do anything”
