Educational methodology
Design Thinking
Design thinking is a human-centered approach to learning. It allows students to engage with the way designers think, have hands-on experiences with the designing process, and finally create a real prototype. Along the way, they apply their knowledge, construct new knowledge, and develop creativity, communication, and empathy – gaining insights into other people’s needs. This process also facilitates problem-solving ability.
Inquiry-based learning
This self-directed learning approach starts with constructing knowledge by making questions, building hypotheses, and testing them through experiments This approach fosters deeper understanding as it moves away from mere information delivery and supports students’ self-directed learning.
Project-based learning
Project-based learning (PBL) is a teaching method in which students learn by actively exploring and applying knowledge in real-world projects. PBL projects are complex tasks, challenging questions, or problems that require learners to design solutions and hone their skills through their products or presentations to a real audience.
Differentiated instruction
Differentiated instruction means tailoring instruction to meet individual needs based on the student’s readiness, interests, or profiles/learning styles.
A pioneer in teaching Design Thinking
Students are provided an ideal space to experiment with their ideas, asking “Why? How? What is a better way?” to find solutions for real-world problems.
Extracurricular Program
The program is thoughtfully designed to be diverse and age-appropriate, catering to students’ interests while balancing academic learning and recreation. It aims to foster the harmonious development of mind, intellect, physical well-being, and aesthetics for every student. Alongside academic knowledge, hands-on experiences help cultivate creativity, problem-solving skills, and a sense of social responsibility, laying a strong foundation for future scholarship opportunities and overseas study.
