Within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP), learning goes beyond academic knowledge. Students are nurtured and developed holistically through a distinctive core component – CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service). CAS is not only a compulsory requirement of the program but also a journey of personal growth, where students unlock their potential while learning to connect, share, and contribute to the community.

CAS encompasses three areas:
Creativity: A space for students to freely express their imagination and experiment with new approaches, whether through art, design, music, or media. They might write and stage a bilingual play to promote cultural values, design posters for a “Go Green” campaign, or form a band to compose and perform meaningful songs.

Activity: CAS encourages students to care for their physical and mental well-being through active experiences. From organizing charity runs and joining inter-school sports tournaments to leading a yoga club, these activities not only build fitness but also foster discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.

Service: Perhaps the clearest expression of social responsibility and compassion, Service allows students to give back in meaningful ways – such as tutoring underprivileged children, upcycling plastic waste into art, or bringing joy to orphanages through cooking, games, and heartfelt connections.

The true essence of CAS lies in this: each experience challenges students to step out of their comfort zones, view the world through new perspectives, and recognize that education is not just about acquiring knowledge from books, but about learning how to live and how to be. CAS cultivates creativity, resilience, leadership, and above all, empathy – qualities essential for becoming global citizens.
Through their CAS journey, students gain not only valuable skills and unforgettable memories but also a profound sense of purpose: to live responsibly – towards themselves, towards others, and towards the world.
