Confident, dynamic, and courageous—after three weeks at Breakthrough Summer Camp, students have undergone remarkable transformation. From shy and hesitant individuals, they gradually stepped out of their comfort zones, actively participating in sports, debates, and dance activities. As the days passed, campers bonded, overcame both physical and intellectual challenges, and cultivated essential skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership—key qualities of global citizens.
The Debate Day marked a significant milestone in this transformation. With the topic “Does cultural integration lead to the loss of Vietnamese identity?”, students presented well-structured arguments and brought vivid, real-world examples from music, fashion, and contemporary creative trends. Their confident presentations reflected not only their sharp thinking but also a deep awareness of cultural identity in an age of globalization.
Camper Kim Ngân shared: “Through the debate sessions, I’ve learned how to express my ideas clearly, respond respectfully, and confidently defend my opinions—something I never dared to try before. I now feel more comfortable sharing my thoughts and no longer shy away from speaking in front of a crowd.”
Following the heated debates was the vibrant and emotional “Reach for the Stars” Gala. Campers came together to conquer teambuilding challenges, reflect on their memorable journey, and relive exciting outdoor trips, dynamic sports competitions, and enriching learning experiences. Each moment contributed to strengthening their discipline, teamwork, and courage to take initiative.
A special highlight of the Gala was the group performance “What Makes You Beautiful”, choreographed and presented by the campers themselves as a heartfelt tribute to their teachers and parents—those who have walked alongside them, inspired them, and empowered them throughout their journey of growth.
Three weeks at Breakthrough Summer Camp sparked positive change, awakened potential, and nurtured the spirit of leadership in every participant. It was more than just a summer experience—it was a launchpad for resilient, creative, and forward-thinking global citizens of the future.
