Highlights Of The Program
The students explore new cultures, study, and dive into famous literary works, as well as create learning products in English. This subject offers interdisciplinary knowledge in History, Geography, Philosophy, Literature, Arts, Politics, Language, etc. Students have chances to broaden their knowledge about humanity matters, critical thinking, and global citizenship skills.
Our curriculum assists students in enhancing and developing advanced academic English proficiency, fostering language usage skills, and building a solid foundation to excel in standardized tests.
The subject provides a comprehensive scientific foundation based on Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) of the U.S. At Elementary School, students will be familiarized with the learning methodology, which will be used to explore and explain natural phenomena at Middle School. At High School, students will carry out experiments across professional fields such as Earth Science, Physical Science, and Life Science.
By rewalking the paths taken by scientists, students are nurtured with curiosity and passion to explore, and empowered to have their own voice and independent choices during learning projects.
By applying design-thinking and knowledge base of Science, IT, Engineering, etc. and empathy with end-users, students generate ideas, craft designs, human-centered solution and produce final learning products with high real-life applications. The course will also support students in developing a creative mindset, and collaborative, communication, problem-solving competency.
Instead of academic theories, formulas, and procedural techniques, our Math program targets logical thinking, the capability to solve real-life mathematical problems and interdisciplinary problems. Students have opportunities to explore, experience, and apply mathematical knowledge and logical thinking to solve hands-on problems.
Our Visual Arts program is not limited to basic general Arts knowledge like colors, lines, painting but extends beyond into numerous aspects, such as: Abstract sculpture, Art of action, Studio design, Graphics design, Fashion design, Jewelry design, Process print, Surface finishing, Ceramics, 3D design, and more.Through immersive experiences, students unlock their creative potential while honing their skills in artistic appreciation. They delve into the rich tapestry of artworks by renowned artists worldwide, explore various material practices, and engage in self-expression through the creation of original artworks.
More than just singing and dancing, we offer a broad range of activities, e.g.: Drama & Music, Songwriting & Recording, Stage set-up, Composing, Performance, Cinematic, Musical & Film Production, Storytelling through Movements, etc. Students delve into the process of ideation, scripting, sound, lighting, stage arrangement, costume design, and acting.
Integrating the best features of American and Japanese physical education, our curriculum is designed to foster the well-rounded development of student’s physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and social well-being. Students are also trained in motor skills through a variety of activities such as Yoga, Mindful Movement, Ballet, Jazz dance, and Aqua-Tots survival swimming.
We use copyrighted international curriculum from Junior Achievement (JA), USA, the course comprises three main pillars: Financial Management, Entrepreneurship, and Career Orientation, equipping students with financial thinking, knowledge, and soft skills to navigate their future career paths.

Study Abroad And Career Counseling
Students receive in-depth study abroad and career counseling services from The Dewey Schools in collaboration with Mount Vernon School, their esteemed partner school. Through personalized 1:1 sessions with experienced American counselors, students embark on a journey to discover their passions, talents, and aspirations, culminating in the creation of a tailored list of prospective universities.
Subsequently, students are guided through both virtual and in-person school visits, meticulously assessing each college/university of three main ranks: Top-ranked universities, Mid-ranked universities, and those where students have high chances of being admitted. Then, they are supported in developing a strategy and timeline for preparing their application portfolios/ scholarship applications, encompassing elements such as essays, personal statements, extracurricular activities, sports achievements, talents, etc.
