On 13 March, after the grand opening ceremony at the 1000-seat theater, the Skittles round’s candidates entered the exciting contest of the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) 2021.
The Skittles round presents 3 parts: Writing, Debate and Scholars’ Bowl. The contestants finished their Writing in the morning with high determination and completed the Debate as well as Scholars’ Bowl with amazing results.
To help the contestants get the most abundant energy and health, The Dewey Schools, the host of the event, had prepared fresh, delicious, and appetizing dishes to serve the contestants throughout the competition.
After lunch time, the contestants entered the exciting ‘Debate’ competition.
After a long way to prepare for the competition and after a rough contest day, the scholars finally arrived at the most anticipated moment. They received the Medals and the Scholars’ trophy with joy, excitement and pride. This is the result of their untiring efforts, and also a great inspiration for everyone around them.
WSC is not only a contest, it is also a platform for the contestants to get acquainted and connect with new friends, help them confidently show their talents, their creative thinking, personal opinions and bring out their bravery and ability to work in groups. WSC is a memorable experience for the children in their journey to master the changes of the future world.
