Today’s achievements are a testament to the students’ perseverance, resilience, and determination throughout their learning journey, while also affirming the effectiveness of the comprehensive education model that the school has consistently pursued.
Dewey students continue to demonstrate remarkable strengths in Languages, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences, with many subjects achieving results significantly higher than the average scores of both Hanoi and the nation.
English remains a standout strength among TDSers, with an average score of 8.88, which is 3.31 points higher than Hanoi’s average (5.57) and 3.81 points higher than the national average (5.07). The Dewey Schools Tay Ho Tay is proud to be the school with the highest average English score in Hanoi.
Literature achieved an average score of 7.56, surpassing the average score of Hanoi by 0.54 points (7.02) and the national average by 1.06 points (6.50). Notably, 35% of students scored 8 points or above, demonstrating their ability in critical thinking, creativity, argumentation, and connecting knowledge with real-world contexts — competencies nurtured through Dewey’s experiential learning approach. These skills have provided students with the confidence to adapt to open-ended exam formats, express their perspectives, and present their own viewpoints.

Mathematics recorded an average score of 7.08, exceeding Hanoi’s average by 0.92 points and the national average by 1.43 points. 30% of students achieved scores of 8 or above, highlighting the strong foundation in logical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills developed throughout their learning journey.
Other subjects, including History, Geography, Physics, Biology, and Economics & Law Education, also achieved average scores higher than those of Hanoi and the nation, reflecting Dewey students’ holistic growth in knowledge, academic thinking, and competencies.
