At just 14 years old, Hà Anh (8Torun) has already earned the honor of representing Vietnam on two occasions as a member of the National Team. From June 2–5, she proudly represented Vietnam at the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup – SEABA Qualifiers 2026 in Bacolod, Philippines. Together with her teammates, Hà Anh delivered exciting performances and created unforgettable memories on the basketball court.

Impressing spectators with her composure and maturity beyond her years, Hà Anh proved to be a vital piece of the team. Her sharp game awareness, intelligent passing, and remarkable ability to control the tempo of the game made her stand out throughout the tournament. It is no surprise that the coaching staff placed great trust in her, consistently giving her significant playing time across the competition.
One of the clearest examples came in Vietnam’s thrilling 55–48 victory over Thailand U18. Hà Anh delivered an outstanding performance, contributing 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Even under intense pressure as the score remained close, her calm mindset and ability to make smart decisions helped the team maintain control, create crucial scoring opportunities, and secure a memorable win.

Speaking about his student, Coach Tuấn Anh shared with great pride: “What makes me most proud of Hà Anh is not only her natural athletic talent but also her dedication and perseverance in every training session. Being selected for the Vietnam U18 National Team is a well-deserved reward for all the effort she has put in. The experiences she has gained with the national team will undoubtedly become valuable lessons that help her continue to grow and achieve even greater success in the future.”
The SEABA Qualifiers 2026 campaign concluded with a memorable victory and a resilient journey against some of the strongest teams in Southeast Asia. Although Vietnam narrowly missed out on qualification, the fighting spirit, determination, and refusal to give up shown by Hà Anh and her teammates won the admiration and respect of basketball fans.
