A school year closes not only with the closing drumbeats, bouquets of flowers, or certificates cherished in hand. For students of The Dewey Schools Cau Giay, it is also the time they realize they have gone through many “first times”: the first time confidently speaking before a crowd, the first time persistently pursuing a goal to the end, or the first time understanding that success always requires the companionship of an entire collective.

The Closing Ceremony for the 2025-2026 school year brought many special emotions. Footage recorded the journey of a school year. Lively lessons, extracurricular activities full of laughter, highly pressured competitions… made teachers, parents, and students relive past moments, to further cherish present achievements.

The “Harvesting Wishes – Sending Messages of Growth” activity became a beautiful point of connection during the ceremony. Each message was a wish sent to friends, a thank-you note dedicated to teachers, or simple desires for the upcoming path. Each note was a way for them to look back at their school year with the most genuine emotions. The mark of Dewey Cau Giay students was also clearly demonstrated through activities carried out by the Student Council (DSC) during the school year. They together organized many bonding, creatively colored programs, contributing to making school life vibrant.

In her message at the ceremony, Ms. Vu Thi Hien—Vietnamese Program Director, shared: “Each passing school year is a journey where you gradually understand more about yourselves, about the surrounding world, and about your own dreams.” That message was exactly what was seen throughout the program: the growth of the students, the pride of the teachers, and the emotional eyes of parents witnessing their children become more resilient after a school year.

The 2025-2026 school year also recorded many proud achievements of Dewey Cau Giay students at academic, sports, and art arenas. Titles such as Ambassador, Star, or Talent awarded during the ceremony were not only recognition for achievements, but also honored the spirit of perseverance, proactivity, and the effort to push past personal limits of each student.

The closing drumbeat echoed, closing the 2025-2026 school year with so many lingering echoes. Hugs, smiles, and even a bit of reluctance on the farewell day will become part of the beautiful memories of Dewey Cau Giay students, especially for the 9th-grade seniors preparing to step onto a new path. Wishing TDSers a summer full of joy, enough leisure to rest, enough excitement to discover more new things, and enough confidence to continue writing their own marks on the journey ahead.
